This past year we had quite a bit of travel, both for work and family/fun. We are hoping to travel some next year but we hope that the balance between work and fun travel swings more to the fun side.

In March, I headed to India for work for just under two weeks and on the way home I had an extended layover in Dubai. It was a great experience and I would definitely head back! I'm sure flying in first class and not coach helped make it better :)

In April 2012, we headed to Kauai with a bunch of my family for a week. It was a great week, and Mark and Sebastian definitely enjoyed their first trip to Hawaii. We are looking forward to finding a time to go back, hopefully sooner rather than later...
In July, Jim & Cathy came out to visit and we headed down to Southern California and made a stop at California Adventure at Disneyland. Sebastian definitely has my joy of roller coasters. Here are some of the pictures from Disney.
In August and October we headed to Albuquerque and Houston for family weddings. We had a great time, but didn't snap too many pics. Here are a couple though from the botanical garden in ABQ...
One of the last trips we took in 2012 was a quick, long weekend to Iowa to see family. Sebastian loved the farm and keeps asking about it. He also was not a big fan of Santa - well, at least while the pictures were being taken. Right after the pictures he turned around and gave Santa a high-5 like the two of them planned it all along. Oh well, every kid has to have at least one crying on Santa's lap pictures.
