New Addition to the Malone/Heger family... Baby Wyitt Leon Russell

As most of you know, this is the year of babies for my family... 3 of us are pregnant and are all about 6-7 weeks apart.

Yesterday, one of the little guys decided to make his debut into the world. My cousin Kate, Aunt Cheri's daughter, gave birth to a healthy baby boy, Wyitt Leon Russell. He was born at 4:16pm on 12/29/2009 and weighed in at 6 lbs 12 oz.

Next up is Amber, married to my cousin Dan (Aunt Cheri's son) due in late February. They are expecting a little girl, Kayla Lily Cobb. Then on to us with our little guy in early April :-) It's going to be an eventful year!!

Okay... You asked for it...

So, everyone has been asking me for preggo pics... But by the time I get home from work, get stuff done around the house, and begin to unwind, the last thing I want to do is smile for the camera. But we have been taking some since we knew we would regret it if we didn't, but that doesn't mean that I am posting them for the world to see... Anyways, here are two of the from 24 weeks... yup, that would be today.

So, as you can see, I am definitely popping out now!!! Mark and my father just finished painting the nursery (it's a light blue up top you just can't really tell from these pics) and Mark is planning on putting up the chair rail over the next couple of days. We also put together the crib tonight. We heard horror stories about how difficult the cribs are to put together so we were pleasantly suprised when we put it together in under 30 minutes. Go us! I guess that's from years of IKEA experience :-) Here is the pic of the finished product with the proud poppa that put it all together.

We are getting ready to have a bunch of my family over for an early Christmas celebration on Sunday so it will be nice to have a lot of the house items done. Just painting the master bedroom, guest bedroom and ordering the blinds for the nursery left to go. Oh yeah, and ALL of the backyard. But that can wait until Spring and tax refund time.

Hello everyone!

Well, we finally decided to cave in and create a blog for everyone to follow. We thought it would be the easiest way to get all of the latest news out to everyone and post some pics on. We know we are going to have tons coming in the near future... I will try to do my best to post on a regular basis, but if you catch me slacking, call me on it! Until the first real post... :-)
