It's Beautiful Here!!

So, everyone now and then with the crazy California politics, economy, taxes, asinine laws and bad drivers, I ask myself, "How come we decided to move back to California?" Then we have weeks like this. Where it's mid-February, 70 degrees outside, sunny and gorgeous!!! And everything is definitely worth it! After all, the drivers here aren't quite as bad as in Washington, DC. I mean, with the last 2 cities I have lived in, I could be burried under 3+ feet of snow right now, not out putting stakes up in the backyard to try to figure out what we are going to do with the landscape. One drawback of the nice weather... it makes it really hard to study for the ecrtification test that I am taking next week.

On an unrelated note, I found my first gray hair yesterday, which was immeadiately plucked out. All of my friends had told me to expect them to pop up during pregnancy but I had escaped them so far. Luckily, my hair has enough blond in it that it can pass for highlights :-)

Mark finished painting our master bedroom and we put everything back to rights over the weekend. It's nice to be back in our room rather than sleeping in the guest room while our room was covered in plastic. We will put up some pictures soon, so keep an eye out...
