We were able to hold him yesterday for the first time since right after he was born before he was transferred to the NICU. He still had all of the leads & bubble machine hooked up, but is was still amazing to be able to hold him. He is so tiny, but will be big before we know it. As soon as we got him settled his respitory rate dropped (good thing!), and his Oxygen levels improved. We are crossing our fingers that today or tomorrow he will be able to go off of the machine! We were able to snag a couple of pics as they were changing the bubble machine attachments. He wasn't too happy with us at the time, understandably, but at least we got to see his little face and head under all of the tubes. He will be much more comfortable once he is able to be off of the machine and can move around freely. Anyways, here are some of the latest pics.
